The General Thomas P.  Stafford Museum, opened in 1983. The museum is located in the Terminal Building  at Thomas P. Stafford Airport. The Museum is visited annually by over 8,000 people from all over the United States and many foreign countries.

Custer County War Memorial This three-stone  memorial is a tribute to Custer County soldiers who died in any of five American Wars - the Civil, World War I, World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.

Southwestern Oklahoma State University Founded in 1901, this is a public institution offering programs in education, arts and sciences, business, health sciences, and pharmacy. There are 4 undergraduate and 4 graduate schools. The 73 acre campus is in a small town 70 miles west of Oklahoma City. Including residence halls, there are 30 buildings.

Crowder Lake State Park Located eight miles south of Weatherford on Hwy 54, two miles east and one mile south on County Road, then 3/4 mile west on Park Road. Its features and facilities include ten park acres, 158 lake acres, eight  campsites, boating and fishing.
